bunch of clips from strush wheels outta japan.
your really going on on a limb when you call your company “better skateboarding“.. and you make wheels.
i mean wheels!! does anyone make good wheels? no. its impossible.. i want the comfort of 85as.. with the power and speed of an 100a + wheel. but better does make a better wheel, depending your taste. they are hard as all get out, speedy, and they will take your abuse all day. in fact. better will replace them with in 30 days if you blow them out. and i have not been able too. they are just starting to cone. a month later! at first i got some 50s. but that was just my mistake. 50′s don’t really work in nyc for me. to small, to hard. i settled on a set of blank 52′s. these i have been on for awhile. i popped on some spitfire 52s.. then back to my better’s. they were just. better. as noted though. these are some rock hard wheels.. better won’t say how hard they are. but my guess is on 101 or higher.
they come treaded, that shockingly took about a week or so to take off. these would probably rip in an indoor park.
next up will be a set of 51m 99a minilogo’s.. (by bones). want to try something softer for a bit.
i know the updates have been lacking for a couple days. i wanted to update every day. specially during the weekdays! so heres the story. i have nothing done to post. all my posts are being worked on. things you’ll see soon. a rant on virgin galactic, a review of “better skateboard” wheels, updates on my records labels, skateboard sub label OPEN. including our first limited deck. made form 100% bamboo. (yet it still a street pill based board). so their will be lots of updates on that.
good stuff i swear.

i have been skateboarding since, about the mid 80s. with a very big break in the late 90′s, through the early 00s. not untill tonight. has the idea of cleaning bearings, been even a sniff of a dream of a thought. ok, yes, i don’t “race” (is that really skateboarding. i say no). so i’ve pretty much normally always used budget bearings. not the cheapest ones on the lot. bones reds have worked for me. 10 -14$ at your shop.

yeah. im holden them upside down. big woop. you wanna fight about it?
well here are directions to clean your bearings. does it sound snobby to say. its not really worth the money? it probably does. right now my wheels are massive noisy. i’m sure some clean bearings would clear that right up. for an afternoon. beyond being noisy, they roll real fine still. atleast for me. i’ll probably replace them soon. but i got like 2 month out of them! thats like the life of a deck. and a 5th of the cost. so i just replace them when they bother me. do you clean your bearings?
btw. this is not an endorsement of bones bearings. i am actually using some by momentum that i am diggin’ right now. so.. don’t be thinking that. it about cleaning them. and the only box i had around were reds. that i’m holding upside down.
