how to do things

so lets say you just chillin’. your not trying to bring any grief on anyone. but before you know it. bang! shit is going crazy. let me tell you what you need to do.
the hard part is way before this even goes bang. you need a lawyer. memorize their number. a super lawyer if you can get one.
then when shit goes pare shaped. 1. shut the fuck up. don’t say shit. 2. the only words you should be saying is. “i want my lawyer.” i don’t care what you did, or didn’t do. you could have helped someone give birth to the the new born baby jesus. you my friend, need your lawyer asap.
3. memorize your lawyers number. 3a. don’t say shit. 3b. i want my lawyer. 3d. call you lawyer. tell them where your at. 3e. shut your face.
if your over 25 and don’t have access to a lawyer.. your fkin blowing it!!
this is from me to you. be safe. know your rights. and your rights are to get a hold of your lawyer.

Hell and a D-Pad

i have an actual important blog post. but we’ll save that for after this one. as this one is not as important. atleast in context of this blog. it’s important to note, i’m a gamer. as in video gamer. i love video games. and there is one kind of game i would marry if i could. we called them “shumps”.. other wise know as bullet hell, or shoot ‘em up, or vertial 2D shooters. if you don’t know about the pure frustration and joy, it’s a lot like skateboarding. looks impossible, but with enough practice is easy. what’s very important to me is, Mushihimesama Futari Ver 1.5 for the xbox 360 has been released in japan region free. its not a new game. i’ve played it before on a hacked PS2. it’s the region free part. the makers of this game is a company called “cave”. and they make some of the hardest, most refined shumps there is.

there is no life bar. one hit. one death. normally with limited continues. the idea is to beat the game (normaly only about 15 – 20 minutes long. with no continues. or with out loosing a life, or! without losing an life, and a perfect, witch gives you an ultimet final boss.. anyways. this game is important. because basiclly this game is testing the ground for a lot of japanese indie and small games to go region free. witch would be great. so i highly recommend you check it out. if your into that kind of thing. if your not sure. there are some games on xbox live that you can try.
probably the BEST shump ever made is there. for 10$ usd.. IKAGURA. in HD! do you remember throwing your NES or SNES controller with fondness? well this game will melt your brain in its difficulty. in my book it is video gamer perfection. start there. combos, high scores, and losing lifes with become the greatest thing since pizza… and or coffee.

one of my personal favs. only on dreamcast, or ps2.. is “Psyvariar 2 Ultimate Final”. check it anyway you can. its a sub genre called Skimming. the idea is to get as close to the bullets as possible, without getting hit. to get the max combo and points.

basics

so i’m just going to continue on with my random ramblings from PDX. since it’s only me and myself, i have way to much time to think. i don’t think i’ve talked since friday.

there’s a few things i can’t figure out. some basic stuff. it could just be the neighborhood i’m staying in. i can not find an ATM. and i’ve been looking! non.. im use to ATM signs all over the place. i can not find a liquor store. places have cheap wine. but thats it. lots of beer though. and its crazy cheap. like 1.50$ for some blue ribbon, from a tap! huh? anyways. beer is cheaper then soda here. i think gatoraide might be more expensive then in NYC. weird.

i’ve lived in the same place for so long. being someplace new with no tour guide is more alien then all my times i’ve flown in to japan. i dont get the NW culture, and people can just tell im from out of town. and, im lost, all the time.

i went to cal’s pharmacy, witch i guess is different then cal’s skate shop.
but cal’s pharm, and the dept. of skateboarding is really close to where i am staying. so i am sure i will be there a lot.

portland, in just 2 days of biking, seems like spots for miles. from gnarly, to just small manny pads. i am sure people would say the same about nyc. probably something in knowing the area, and how people react.

i hate being in a new place. but once i get my bearings i love it. so here’s to hope. oh, and maybe i can score some tribute rain drop 53s. ha.

i’ve been stretching, trying to get the muscle back in my foot. i am off to PDX for a couple weeks. portland as they call it. i don’t know anyone who skates out there. so, if your in portland, and are cool skating with an oldish, injured visitor. gimme a shout! otherwise im just gonna be trying to hit all the spots. or atleast parks. old man night at the dept. of sk.. here i come!

also trying to catch Tribute’s “Tribute takes portland” premiere.

update: actually going to try to go to the one on friday at the dept. of skateboarding instead.

bombin the moon

well i’m sure we all equally love the idea of bombing down one of those hugh craters on the moon. actually. it would be slow. but you could get some epic air.
anyways. we’re not gonna be bombing craters any time soon. we will be impact bombing one of the moon’s poles. thats what i’m talking about. click the picture below to read about what is going down.
