i need to relax from my MTA rage. so here is one of the best things i have seen in awhile. a casual vid from Kyle Leeper and Etnies. this is a real skate vid imo. no big banger. just style and flow.
you know. just fuck you MTA. (nyc area metro transit athority). fuck everyone who works for you to boot. (for good measures). almost the #1 reason to move outta this town.
so today i went in for some minor knee surgery. it appeared i had a meniscus tear. how much did i appear i did? after 2 weeks of knee pain. i went to see a doctor. with some quick looking at my grossly colored knee, and some ligh, but painfull squeeze. “i think its a meniscus tear. we need to have and MRI”.. ok i say. and a week later have an MRI. once all the MRI data comes back. yeap.. and meniscus tear. so, got to have some small surgery to remove the torn part. ok. not exciting. but anything to get back on my feet.. as it were. so! today was the day. i get in there. the knock me out, and i wake up about a hour later. or so. i don’t really know. and my doctor / surgeon comes in. “good new and bad new”.. as my heart sunk. “there is nothing wrong with your knee”.. as in there was no tear anywhere.
we looked at pictures from inside my knee, and everyone is pretty much dumb founded. just to be clear. i had already had 4 weeks fo pain leading up to the MRI. the MRI was about 1.5 weeks before the surgery. and, meniscus tears to not heal. look it up.
anyways so here i lay. my knee wrapped up. cause they did cut into it and probe around. but now with a total mystery. what went wrong, and where? was the MRI wrong? did my doctor. who specialises in this somehow miss it? im going to go with a fucked up MRI. but then what?
ah the wonderfull world of medicine.

i did this mix for my friends site.. percussionlab.com, but since i also have my own little site here.. thought i would post it here. a new years mix of some glowave.. if you dont know.. well now you know.
at the very end of 08.. i got back into skateboarding.. and procceded to get a mild concussion. landed on my face. knocked myself out. from there it was all good. but at the end of july. right when i was feeling good.. i broke my foot. so month later i am trying to get back into shape.. but its getting cold.. and.. i tear a tendon in my right knee.
now i await some hopefully minor surgery, and back to rehab. to say the least my expectation on a skateboard have decreased. as i head toward (but not at) my mid 30s.. here is what i would like to learn in 2010.. on my skateboard.
